Picture
Intimate, graceful and undeniably adult, this hotel is comprised of three historic townhouses surrounding dinky 19th century courtyards.

The standards here are extremely high – reflected in the prices but you’re in no danger of disappointment. If old-world elegance is your cup of Earl Grey, then this unassuming bolthole has it in spades. You can, for instance, sit out with a glass of wine and let the scents of magnolia and guava waft over you before retiring to your antique-laden room. Just a thought.

Breakfast is bought to your room, and I promise you won't get mad about that fact. It's freshly made scones on a hot stone with home made preserves and fresh orange juice. I know, right? It kind of reflects the hotel in general: Indulgent, nostalgic and a consummately refined experience.

Where: French Quarter
Price: High end
Highlights: The breakfasts, the courtyard
