Blogging is an innovative, efficient way to engage customers, direct traffic to websites and provide something over and above straightforward corporate information.

Blogs can be less formal, offering a chance to be informative and entertaining while still promoting a product or service. Customers are much more likely to read a well-written blog than a simple list of facts. It becomes more personal, can drive repeat traffic and can be constantly updated in response to customers' interests.

My most recent blogging project has been for Dollar Car Rental, who decided to create a motoring blog for their customers, encompassing tips, travel features and driving itineraries. I wrote to their brief, seamlessly incorporating terms to improve Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and coming up with tens of ideas. You can see the results HERE.
