It's situated plum on the bank of the Chao Phraya River, and so when you wander down to breakfast on the terrace, you get to enjoy some choice views as you ill-advisedly have your third Eggs Benedict in as many days:
Best of all, though, there's the charmingly retro technology in the room, which must have looked state of the art in about 1981. I think it's still somewhat charming, though good luck finding an iPod dock:
