It's not pocket science

We were in a bar ordering drinks we couldn't afford and my friend Adi said, "We've got champagne tastes and shandy pockets..."

The name also seemed to fit with working as a travel journalist and looking in on lifestyles that I would never have the money for in real life.

There's no big plan behind the site. I just wanted somewhere to put bits of writing. If you like or don't like any of it, I'd be very happy to hear from you.
