Journalism:
Five years experience. Features on destinations in Europe, USA, Africa, Australia and Asia. I have been published in The Guardian, The Evening Standard, The Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, The Dublin Tribune, Ireland on Sunday and The Press Association. I have also written for the magazines Time Out, Red, Food and Travel, Eurotraveller, The Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Conference and Incentive Travel and Wedding & Home.
I have written general features and celebrity interviews for Crackin’ Magazine (comedy) and The Illustrated Ape (pop culture), as well as for several lifestyle and culture websites.
Commercial writing / travel guides:
I have written several online travel guides, compiling detailed information about specific destinations (Los Angeles, New Orleans, London Hotels, Thailand).
I wrote the 2004 and 2005 Thailand Brochures for the UK Tourism Authority of Thailand, giving a general overview of the country to potential travellers. I also wrote affiliated guides for travel agents looking to sell Thailand to clients.
I worked as an editorial assistant on the Insight travel guide to Great Britain (2002).
Sub editing: 2002-2005: staff writer and sub editor on the daily classified ads publication, Loot. Responsible for a large turnover of copy and feature ideas. I have also provided cover for the editor, overseeing production and authorising page proofs.

Other writing:
2003: I wrote the screenplay for and produced the comedy short, “Target Audience”, which was shortlisted for the 2003 BBC Talent New Filmmaker’s competition.
2004: Honourable Mention for 'Malachi of Hereford' in the Mona Schreiber Award for short humorous fiction, an international writing award based in Los Angeles, USA.
Performance:
2006: I am appearing in the opera Tobias and the Angel at the Young Vic theatre in October.
